Saw this last night. That poor chassis. I feel bad for Ed. He does all the work and rarely gets to drive the cars. As a fellow giant, I know that feel, bro.

Also we were graced with a Paul sighting.

Imagine trying to do that at home in your own garage. I know there have been a few posts about "flipping" cars on oppo lately. Yeah, this epsidoe is why a guy with minimal wrenching will lose money.

I did search the net for TVR's today at work after watching the episode last night though :)

lol, always nice when Paul gets a lottle credit. Funny too, this was the first episode where they mentioned that the cost of labour would mean no profit... if they calculated it.

me thinks Ed does more driving than we see

It killed me a bit when Mike actually gave thanks that Edd wasn't charging labor rates, or they would have been busted.

Nice way to take the real goods for granted, there, Mike. :unimpressed:

But I am sure that the car with a new chassis was quite a goer, if you know what I mean, squire, nudge, nudge, wink, wink.

Oh, you know Edd gets to have his fun without worrying about camera time.

But he was rightfully skittish about mike hooning a car that just had tons of work done.

If Mike were to mash it up, Edd's work is all for naught.

Mike shoulda just been a little more concerned that Edd missed tightening a suspension nut/bolt before doing 150 :D

yeah, its my common thought when I watch this program. Any "profit" would just have to be handed over to Edd. It really is genius to make this a show, I imagine the payment they get from being actors in it is the only way they are making any money on the endeavor.

But its ok, still an awesome show, and I certainly don't account for any of my labour when I'm selling a car and calling it a profit or break even

Agreed.

I hope they are doing well, though, on TV money, or whatever... because Edd works hard.
